How to enrol in a Catholic school

To enrol your child at one of ourÌýprimaryÌýorÌýsecondaryÌýschools, simply click on Request an ҹɫÊÓÆµapp Pack above. Complete the enrolment form and provide all required documentation directly to the school when applying for enrolment.

Applicants are asked to attend an interview with the Principal. Interviews begin in Term 1 or 2, and continue through to Term 3 depending on applications received.

Parents/carers receive offer of a place at the school in writing in Term 3.

Orientation for students will be held in Term 3 or 4 depending on the school.

When is the enrolment period?

Catholic schools accept enrolments at any time of the school year and you are encouraged to enquire about any availabilities should you wish to have your child attend a Catholic school mid-way through the year.

However, enrolments into Catholic schools for the following year take place between February and June, when parents and their children are invited to come to the school’s open day and enrol.

How old does my child need to be to enrol in Kindergarten?

Children who turn five years old on or beforeÌýMay 31 are eligible for enrolment into Kindergarten for that year.

Does my child need to be Catholic to attend a Catholic school?

No. The Catholic school is open to all who want to share its educational goal, inspired by Christian principles. For more information, view "Does my child need to be Catholic to go to a Catholic school?"

Overseas Students

A small number of places in schools in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle may be available to students on visas who share our Catholic faith and ethos. At the present time, no students with a visa subclass 500 are able to be enrolled into diocesan Catholic schools.
